SEESAW ART WALL

The SeeSaw Art Wall was a collaboration between Plaza Walls, Adam Lanman and 180Development. When designing the new parking lot in the Plaza District located at 15th and Blackwelder we wanted to create something funky that incorporated placemaking. It was high on our priority list to find a way to combine play with a way to fund local artists. After our first meeting brainstorming with Adam, we had a pretty clear idea of how to do this. The Plaza Walls helped us with the curation part of the installation. This project was a great way to break up the monolithic look of a parking lot and help out the community. The art installation has since put over $15,000 into local artist’s pockets.
